I need more protein in my diet?!

I need more protein in my diet?

I am a little underweight and I'm trying to gain some weight back after losing a lot, but I want to gain mostly muscle. What are some foods high in protein because I feel like I am lacking it. My family is kind of poor so we don't get to buy a lot of meat. What are some other foods I can eat that will make me healthier? (I'm 15).


Answers:

Beans (pinto, kidney, etc.), peanut butter, cheese and milk are all good sources of protien. Peanut butter is high in fat, but it's a good fat that our bodies need. Beans are also high in fiber and that's very good for you, too.
