I don't understand most vegetarians?!

Question:

I don't understand most vegetarians?

God, evolution, whoever you believe in, we were created to eat animals. Now I undestand doing it for the postive health effects. But your forgetting how many products also contain leather and extracts from Animals. Furthermore, if everyone went vegeterian, how would non-industrialized people survive? How would people in the desert survive where crops are limited to wheats and some vegetables that grow in the ground? You can't expect the WORLD to stop eating meat. And then we move on to the vegan idea of elleminating dairy too. What if a baby's mother couldn't lactate and the baby was also allergic to soy? Most formula powders still have dairy in them. Many [rather ancient] religous sacrafices will have to be ended too. My idea is that animals get a death thats worth something. That means if we have to have leather products, don't kill animals just for the leather and other animals just for the meat [there are companies that do this, evil isn't it.]

Now, most people argue animals have emotions. Of course they do. But they kill eachother for meat as well. If your arguing not killing animals by holding them to the same standerds as humans, doesn't that make THEM eating meat just as immoral?

The site automatically tacks a question mark onto everything.

Tear out your teeth, there's your source. See the sharp ones, thats for tearing up meat.

I find most vegetarians and vegans have little real life understanding of domestic livestock to begin with. They weep for the dairy cow whose calf is taken from her, without realizing that as a genetic freak, she produces enough milk for 5 calves, and her calf would not only scour and die from overeating, but she'd also develop mastitis from not being milked out enough by her calf. If milking is so traumatic, then why do my uncle's dairy cows line up at the parlor a good 30 minutes before milking time, and then file into the stanchions all by themselves, with no pushing or prodding from the hired help? Because it's a relief to get that milk out of their bags, that's why, and no he's not shooting them full of hormones. That's what good genetics do, produce insane amounts of milk. Sheep and angora goats need shearing whether you wear that sweater or not. Hens are gonna lay eggs like clockwork whether you eat them or not.

If we stopped eating meat, what's gonna happen to all those domestic breeds? We just gonna turn 'em loose in the forest to run wild? I'm sure the bears and mountain lions won't be crying over eating them.
