A pescetarian with a few questions?!

Question:

A pescetarian with a few questions?

i had two random questions that i would like feedback on:

1) does being a pescetarian entitle me to a "meat is murder" t-shirt and other cool stuff that shouts "alternative lifestyle here!!!!"? *slight jab at the hardcore V&Vs*

2) some say that a pescetarian diet may be healthier than a strictly vegetarian or vegan one...what do you think?

*sidebar: i'm not reconsidering my diet. seafood and dairy are still my heart's desire after several years. your answers will just be food for thought.

Answers:

1) Whatever floats your boat, but if you live in an area with lots of vegetarians and vegans, you might get called out as a hypocrite. If you live in a mostly meat-eating area however; people may not even be aware that fish is not vegetarian.

2) Yes, it's true that a pescetarian diet can be very healthy. Fish is good for your heart. Lots of heart patients are put on the "Mediterranean Diet" which is similar to a pescetarian diet. But you can easily make it unhealthy as well, just like any diet.

What you eat and what you wear and what you call yourself is up to you and no one else. Do what feels right for you and don't let what other people think bother you.
