Any veg*ns want to join me in going RAW?
(Smart-aleck commenters need not reply!)
I have been raw for about a week. I'm loving it so far! I've been gorging on information and it all makes so much sense. Trying to eat in a more natural way has led me here. Just as I was getting used to not eating dairy or flesh anymore now it's time to move on to the next level. I must listen to the universe!
Anyone else tried going raw (what were your experiences?) or are you interested in trying to go raw? It's so much easier than I thought it would be (so far, anyway!). It'll be even easier once I get a dehydrator and a Vitamix!
Can you tell I'm excited?

I am already raw, but wanted to wish you luck! I have eaten 80 percent raw, 20 percent lightly steamed or cooked for about 4 years now. At first, I tried all of the elaborate pates and recipes, but now I just prefer things as they come from the earth. I just finished a lovely salad of greens, kolrabi, radish, pencil carrots, cucumber, celeriac, celery, shredded brocolli and cabbage, and about 5 kinds of homegrown beansprouts, some sesame bean thread noodles, with a raw spring onion dressing. Yummy! Crunchy and right on target for a hot summer night. I love raw-all of those enzymes help the body digest, making it much easier on the system. Many raw foodies avoid raw milk, but I enjoy it fresh from my cow. I also make raw cheeses and butter and yogurt. Later tonight, I will enjoy some homemade raw yogurt, with raw agave nectar. Good luck to you! Enjoy this great way of eating! The best advice I could give you is to be flexible-don't follow someone elses version of what you can or can't eat-there are no veggie police. If you want something cooked, go for it and enjoy it. Mostly raw is better than nothing at all. Its all a matter of personal choice.
