Is school meat real?!

Question:

Is school meat real?

i can't tell now plus im vegitarian now im about to start and i want to know if i should or not?

Answers:

It depends on what you mean by "real". They're not vegetarian, but they're not very good cuts of meat, either. They're usually a slurry of beef fat, organ meat, the cheapest bits that would normally be thrown away, food coloring, preservatives, and other chemicals*... worse than hot dogs. Some of them may have soy in them to bulk them out, but don't let people trick you into thinking school hamburgers are vegetarian just because they're not 100% meat. I suggest packing your own lunch. (Actually, I'd suggest non-vegetarians pack their own lunch too when it comes to school food!)
