Great questions. Never too early to seek answers for your health.
Why I do not consume Dairy, Meat, Fish ,Eggs etc: Heart Disease, Cancer of all kinds, Auto-Immune diseases (Arthritis, MS, Fibromyalgia, Lupus etc.)
B-12: Fermented foods, Tempeh, Miso, Sea Vegetables. Even meat eater can be low in B-12..it's all in the digestive track. I take a Liquid B-12 w/Folic Acid from The Vitamin Shoppe. I have a low acid stomach & do not disgest any foods well(except Raw Veggies Juices) so the extra B-12 is insurance.
Also meat eater are very likely to be high in Homocsteine levels which also require extra B Vitamins

I truely believe Humans were not meant to eat anything but , Veggies, Fruit, Nuts, Seeds & grains. Too many human ills are cured or at least arrested with Vegan & Raw Vegan Diets to discount.

My own diet is 75% to 85% Raw with the balance in cooked Vegan Foods. I am big into Fresh Veggie Juices & Green Smoothies.
