The Actimel drinks on TV?!

Question:

The Actimel drinks on TV?

In the advert for Actimel drinks - and others like it - they claim that it contains LIVE cultures ie. bugs (!) that help our digestion. In knowing full well that it contains living organisms can vegetarians drink it?
I'm not trying to be funny here, it's a serious question. Would vegetarians be going against their principles by drinking this and things like bio yogurt which contains the same cultures? I'd like to hear from anyone who has an opinion on this.
P.S. This question is just a bit curious trivia so any answers are welcome.
P.P.S. I may regret saying that!

Answers:

No Vegetarians and Vegans would not class that as killing. The same way they see no wrong in killing the living creatures around them daily. Flies, beetles, spiders etc. It seems it's the size of the creature that counts, or whether it is convenient to kill it.
How many organisms do they kill having a bath or using disinfectant on work surfaces?
Never met a Vegan/Veggie cat or dog owner yet who didn't use flea spray or drops!!!!
You don't see many animal rights activists protesting about the deaths of thousands of rats and mice by the 'Exterminators' either. Or the creatures killed when the crops are sprayed or harvested!
Death is a fact of life for us all > whether we are microscopic like viruses or that pinnacle of evolution called man.
