Is it okay to drink tea if you are a raw foodists?

I want to make some herbal tea, but I am a raw foodists. Can raw foodists still have tea? Is it okay to bend the rules just to have some tea?

Celtic Tejas, I just had to give you best answer. You have no idea how nice it is to read your replies. You inspire me to stay on a raw food diet.

Tea is naturally dried not roasted like coffee. Yes you have to boil the water but still the tea is steeped not cooked. I am Raw & do tea. I am sure there are some who don't but for me a nice "cuppa" can solve the problems of the world.
