can someone please help me???
thankyou for your time

Answers:

Many of us in India are vegetarians.
It includes the Hindu community of Brahmins (a priestly class) and a few non Brahmins too. That would include the class known as Jains.
Among the Hindu non Brahmins, the Lingayats of Karnataka ( a State in India), vegetarian Pillai (of Tamil Nadu), the Namboodiris (the priestly class of Kerala) and quite a lot of North Indians are purely vegetarians.
The principle is that killing animals is a sin and the sin is not expiated even if you eat them (Ugh).
