Answers:

When you go veggie you simply cannot just stick another vegetable or those fake meats in place of the meat.

Here's how to stay healthy.
Eat a good breakfast. At least one thing should be whole grain. There are whole grain breads out there that don't taste nasty. Colonial bread is one that tastes like white bread but it's not. I'd eat it when I was in elementary school so you know it's not yucky.

Eat meals like this.
Two greens and one starch.
Two greens and one starch and something such as tofu or a meat sub ie soy patties.
Only eat those soy patties about once a week. Three times at the most. Those kinds of foods have been processed. Processed foods don't have a lot a vitamins and minerals. Kind of like fast food.
Eat fresh or frozen vegetables instead of canned when ever possible. Those have more vitamins and canned ones contain alot of sodium. Also go for the bags of beans before the canned. You know the hard ones. The closer to nature you can get the more vitamins and minerals.
Make sure you eat enough iron rich foods. Like beans, nuts, califlower, broccoli, and tomatoes. Tomatoes having lots of iron is a little know fact but trust me on this. They are loaded in fiber too. I mean loaded like prunes are.LOL
If nothing else peanut butter is high in iron.
Now the fruits are the same. 2 to 3 fruits twice a day.
Now everything you eat has some protien in it. Some foods have more than others but they all have it in them. Unless it's junk food. You really don't need to worry about it.
Lastly watch your junk food intake. If you eat too much then you take room away in your stomach for the good foods. If you don't get enough good foods you won't feel as good as you could. Not good.
Super lastly we veggies have a different food piramid that meat eaters. Go to the goverments website and get to know the veggie version. That will help you out when planning meals too.
