How do I have a balanced vegetarian diet on a low budget?
My parents aren't supportive of my diet, or at least they won't go out of their way on the grocery list. So how do I have a balanced diet on basic stuff? will fruit and dairy products work?
Answers:
Black beans have lots of protein and are very inexpensive. Salads with some lot-fat dressing, add some nuts and cheese on top -- can be done cheaply.
Of course, pastas and rice are cheap -- toss with your favourite in season veggies and you have an easy dinner!
