Organic food and skin...Please help.?!

Question:

Organic food and skin...Please help.?

Good morning everyone. Being that this is the vegan section.. I imagine many of you eat only organic product. I would like to know if eating 100% organic would improve my skin?

Right now I'm eating 100% Raw/Organic. ( I'm also a vegetarian, 2 weeks now), but I'm thinking of droping the Raw part. I still will not eat anything cooked but won't panic if a product has been pasteurized...ex: Tropicana 100% orange juice. Not milk!

Any info would be great.

Thank you so much.
Have a great day.

Marc.

Answers:

I'm about 40-50 % raw and I feel great on that diet. Otherwise I'm a vegan and have been for 19year. I realized that I needed to increase the amount of whole vegetables in my diet and then my skin improved. 2 weeks isn't enough time to see significant changes. Stay with the raw diet for a couple more weeks and then if you get bored of that you can introduce steamed vegetables and quinoa. On my raw diet my acne from childhood cleared up for the first time ever! Stick with it. Your local library probably has some great raw cookbooks. My favorites are Raw by Juliano, and Eat smart eat Raw. Gabriel Cousens book Rainbow green live-food cuisine is also tasty, but he's a bit odd so you have to ignore that part. Good luck!!
