How much soy is too much?!

Question:

How much soy is too much?

I looove soy milk and probably drink a gallon a week. I also enjoy tofu and vegan Boca Burgers (eat a burger about once every few days). I also hear that too much soy can injur the liver... so how much is too much?

Answers:

Too much is over 300 grams a day of soy protien which most people don't even come close to. Most people only consume anywhere between 30-60 grams a day. This much must also be consumed over a period of time. Soy does not damage the liver but is stored at excess fat which can cause other problems. Soy in moderation is very healthy. It is a complete protien low in cholesterol and high in nutrients. Remember that too much of any good thing can be bad and it's better to eat things in monderation and get a variety of food.
