What KIND of vegetarian am i..?!

Question:

What KIND of vegetarian am i..?

I eat many non-meat products, but ONCE in a while, i do eat a little meat.

NOW, dont be all "your not a vegetarian! stop! saying! that!"

because this poor girl got a "question" made up about her and she said sorry. and everybody just gave her low thumbs, or something. it was REALLY stupid.

becasue i KNOW that there are a type of vegetarians who only eat a little meat, only in a blue moon.

so, for all you people who arent going to say that im NOT a vegetarian, what sort of vegetarian am i..?

tlike, what do you call it..?

i eat as much non-meat stuff as i can, but only ONCE in a while i have meat.

just curious. ;)

thanks..!

Answers:

Pescetarianism — A diet in which the only animals consumed are fish or other seafood.
Pollotarianism — A diet in which the only animals consumed are fowl.
Flexitarianism — A diet that consists primarily of vegetarian food, but that allows occasional exceptions.
Freeganism — argues all commodities produced under capitalism, not only those from animal sources, contribute to exploitation and avoid buying anything, including food. Freegans thus focus on acquiring foods and other commodities by means other than purchasing, including foraging for wild plants and gardening with intent to cause as little violence and ecological destruction as possible through their consumption. While many freegans are vegans or vegetarians, others will eat animal products that would otherwise go to waste under the justification that doing this does not encourage further animal exploitation.

i would call you a flexitarian. but don't hesitate to call yourself a vegetarian if the question comes up. you know what i mean the whole "are you a vegetarian?" schpiel. it is so much easier to say "yes" or "no" instead of an in depth description of your dietary habits. the people who get all upset when some one who is a loose vegetarian calls themself a vegetarian don't take into consideration that different people don't eat meat for different reasons. i don't eat meat because i don't like the way animals are farmed and killed. however, i have gone fishing many times and i kill the animal quickly and humanely and i don't feel bad about it at all. it is so much easier to call myself a vegetarian instead of explaining myself completely.
