I got one more question, for vegans, you know I think its okay to drink milk and use dairy products, think about it... arent cows in pain when they arnet milked? And my guess is that they enjoy it. Im thinking Im going to give up meat completely.

Answers:

It really depends on why you're a vegitarian. My view is that something should not be raised then killed so that I can eat it. Because of this, I'm okay with the idea of hunting, but not going to the grocery store and picking up some ground beef. The way I did it (and everyone is different) is by cutting myself off from meat compleatly, but you might want to start out by cutting out all red meats, then everything else. Different styles for different people.

As for fish, most of them are caught, and very few of them are farmed (some of them are, belive it or not). This makes it more of a chance thing, rather than being "born to die."

Also, esp if you're a female, make sure that you get enough iron! It's something not a lot of people think about, but it's vital. If you have an iron deficiancy, you can lose hair and other unpleasantries, and an iron shot really sucks.

Best of luck to you on your quest for becoming a vegitarian, remember to eat healthy.

Post Script: You may have meat cravings (I know I did) but eventually they subside, and the idea of eating most, or all, meat sounds unappealing.
