Where can I get Natural Potato Chips?!
Where can I get Natural Potato Chips?
I had these chips at a party and they were absolutely delicious. I believe they were by Lay's or Ruffles. It had sweet potato, russet and blue potatoes in it. I believe on the bag it said natural. I went on Lays and Ruffles websites and I couldn't find them. Anyone know what I'm talking about or where I can find them?
Answers:
Sure - they're root vegetable chips!
You can get them at most grocery stores. They're called Terra Chips and are about $5 a bag! OR you can go to Trader joe's and get them for a couple bucks a bag (store version and better in my opinion).
Or you can make your own, healthier version by thinly slicing root veggies yourself and then BAKING them in your oven (lowest setting with door cracked until crispy). I make them in my dehydrator after marinading in Bragg's and then I sprinkle nutritional yeast or just sea salt and pepper on them. They go from snack to bonafide helth food that way and I can eat as many as I want and know I'm doing something good for me!
