What foods have gluten in them?!

Question:

What foods have gluten in them?

Answers:

Everything made from wheat, rye and barley. Oats do not have gluten in them persay but due to cross contamination with wheat during harvest and processing, oats are avoided on the Gluten Free diet.

For a complete list of examples of gluten containing items go to www.celiac.com and search "forbidden foods". There are many alternative names for gluten, so even if something doesnt say rye, it may still have gluten in it, for example, malt, undistilled vinegar, soy sauce, etc.
www.csaceliacs.org has a glossary of foods and what is gluten free and what isnt also.
