Making vegan chili - WAY too hot - how to fix?!

Question:

Making vegan chili - WAY too hot - how to fix?

I've made a gigantic batch of veggie chili for a party tomorrow - it is far too hot - how do I mellow without adding any dairy or meat?

p.s. I've already added an additional 2 large cans of peeled tomatoes and 3 cans of beans - not helping.

I'll do potatoes if its all anyone can come up with but that sounds kind of gross in chili.

Answers:

Take out some of the juice from the chili and add water and more chili powder to it,If you quarter a potato and slide it into the pot and let get tender, just remove them. They can be thrown out or mixed up with eggs for burritos.Hope this helps.Sprinkle sugar in the pot.
