If I want to be a vegetarian, is Vegemite a good protein substitute?


Answers:

vegemite is a GOOD source of vitamin B12, which many people think Vegetarians/vegans don't get. While we don't need much B12.. some vegans may have a difficiency.

So in other words.. vegemite is a good thing to use occasionally.

As for protien.. get it from a variety of beans, soy, tofu, nuts, and whole grains.. not sure how much is in vegemite.
