I just want to eat like a fruitarian for like 3 days just to clean out and lose a couple lbs...how do I do it?

I bought some apples, pears, and cantelope...plus i have a freezer full of frozen strawberries and mixed fruit I could make smoothies with... Do you skip breakfast and wait to eat until you are famished...how often do you eat? Is there anything i should know about it first?


Answers: you don't need to starve until you are hungry. that's silly stuff that sadistic cookbook writers put in their books to make it seem mysterious. fact is, you could gorge all day every day as a raw foodist and still lose weight for up to a month straight, until your body is done detoxifying.

just eat what you like. if you hate lettuce, don't eat lettuce. if you love watermellon, eat watermellon. if you hate sea vegetables, don't eat seaweed. if you love broccoli, eat broccoli. if you hate sprouted beans, don't eat sprouted beans. if you love raw cacao, eat raw cacao.

get it. frozen? huh????

also it doesn't work that way dearest. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, as fresh as you can get, then every night before you sleep, drink the blood of a young goat, preferably female.

Good luck. It's sad how people want to be thin because through evolution, we see "thin and fit" as a sign of health, and therefore a good mate...but then people become extremely unhealthy just to become thin, and thus no longer a good mate. Sad.

If you want to be thin, eat healthy. Balance your diet with plenty of grains, legumes, vegetables, and fruit. i hope this helps.

A fruitarian only eats fruits and vegetables that do not kill the plant itself... so no lettuce, celery, potatoes, onions, carrots etc. They only eat the ripened ovary of a plant, which is the technical definition of a fruit.

So therefore... fruitarians eat tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, avocados, etc. because those are fruits. They also eat what we generally define fruit as: apples, oranges, and the like.

What should you know about this first?

By going on a crash diet like this, you may lose a few pounds but you'll pack it back on as soon as you start eating your regular diet again.

Fruit like apples and bananas contain lots of sugar, so you'll be getting a lot more sugar in your diet so you may have some interesting mood swings due to the crash you'll have when all the carbs and sugar have burned off.

Eat a diet of lean protein, fruit and vegetables, complex carbs and a small amount of healthy fat. Eat 5 or 6 small meals a day. Get at least 30 minutes of exercise at least 4 days a week.

To lose weight, simply burn off more calories than you take in. Ummmm... you would do it by eating fruit? What do you think? Great concept to eat fruit if you want to eat like a fruitarian.
