Question:

Question about Some vegitarians like Pamela Anderson??Products and Vaccinating.?

This is not a judgement question, just curious. Why do some vegitarians like Pamela Anderson not eat meat but get breast implants, tatoos and wear alot of makeup? Are they just apposed to the killing of animals but are ok with foreign substances in their bodies?I know that there are organic and animal free tested products out there. And organic cleaning products, bed sheets etc.Why would some people vegan or vegitarian still uses these chemicals and foreign products in/on their bodies and homes??Again, this is not a judgementally based question.I just want to learn more about these topics.Do vegans/vegitarians vaccinate their children/selves as well with all the animal , chemical and other disturbing ingrediants? This link has all the vaccine ingrediants supplyed by the drug companies. Please take a look and answer my questions if you can.Thanks.

Answers: as long as I'm not eating an animal that is all I am concerned with. I don't eat animals... soms others feel differently but I don't care about that... I don't eat animals period. as for immunizations... or anything else that may save my life... I make that exception and am fine with that. The reason I became a vegetarian was to extend my life and quality of life... but it makes no sense to me to do that if I am going to risk the shortening of it by risking disease... make any sense? People are vegtarians for all different reasons
Health (eliminating cholestrol, sat fat, sodium)
Personal beliefs on animals (don't want an animal to be killed or do not agree with the way animals are treated) and other reasons. If you don't like seeing an aminal being slaughtered and treated horribly, I dont see what that has to do with tattoos? Many vegetarians still wear leather, you can't expect everyone to be 100% off of animals, especially at 1st, becoming a vegan is a long learning process, and you also have to take peoples personal opinions into consideration. . I think that every little bit helps. I hope no one comes and "Knock" you too hard because I think you ask a very interesting question. I am not a veggie but hanging around YA I've learned a lot however I still think many people do it simply for attention. Just my opinion and I know I'll get tons of thumbs down for that but I come with an open mind and from the ones who are serious I have learned many things. In fact, although I will never give up eating meat completely I have by far cut down on my consumption. Mainly for the health issues rather the the whole animal rights side of it which I think many veggies are really misinformed on.

My husband has worked in the beef industry for 25 years, believe me those animals are not treated inhumanely or killed inhumanely. The industry is about making money. Stressed animals are not profitable and if they were mistreating them they would be stressed, stressed means less money, plus the government's presence is in the plants at all times. While I know there may be small, fly-by-night types of places that are not following the same rules, it is unfair to put every meat packer into that category. as people have posted before people are vegetarian for many different reason's IE health, beliefs etc. So to answer a question like yours you need to ask each veggie why they became veggie in the first. For example someone who became veggie for a health reason may not have an issue using animal products in other parts of their life's.

I myself am a vegan and do not use or wear anything that has animal parts. There is however some things that are beyond my control e.g my car seats are made of leather however i can't afford to buy a new one, medicine is a big issue as well.

my only problem with your issue is why you seem to relate vegetarians with plain people as you ask why Pam Anderson has tattoos, wears make up and has breast implants. You can get vegan make up and i think vegan tat ink, i don't know enough about silicone to comment but just because you choose to eat a certain way doesn't mean you can't look nice while doing it. ;).

Blue sea i would think that killing a healthy living cow is inhumane in definition. I myself don't belive in killing whether it be human or animal. One has nothing to do with the other.

Most vegans are such because they hate animal torture.
