JENNY84....sorry about that, i understand what you meant...thanks very much for your advice cos it is helpful xx If you make this recipe I promise you'll never crave cooked foods again!

THE GUACAMOLE SANDWICH

(To make the guacamole)

1 ripe avocado, chopped
1 &1/2 teaspoon minced onion(or chopped union)
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic (1 clove)
Dash sea salt
Dash cayenne
drop of apple cider vinegar (optional)

(other ingredients)
1-2 large romaine leafs
1 tomato

Place all the guacamole ingredients in a small bowl. Mash with a fork. Leaving the mixture slightly chunky.

Now spread the mixture onto a large romaine leaf. Then, cut up a tomato into small slices, and squeeze the juice from each slice onto the guacamole, and finally place the tomatoes on top of the guacamole . Rap up the sandwich like a burrito or use two leafs to make a sandwich.

There you have it, the guacamole sandwich! If you're having that much trouble with it then why not just eat some toast? Eating cooked food doesn't hurt anything... no animals have to suffer and it's not bad for your health so why put yourself through it?

EDIT: I'm not trying to tell you anything... I was simply asking why put yourself through it? If eating cooked food makes me a moron then I'm afraid most of the world are morons too. Cooked food may not be as healthy as raw food but that doesn't make it unhealthy. I'd suggest you try and eat mostly raw foods if that's what you feel is best but if you really want toast or cooked food now and again then go ahead... it won't affect the goodness of the raw food you've been eating. Don't just eat a completely raw food diet to gain the label 'raw-foodist' or whatever... do what makes you happy and if that means eating a slice of toast now and again then what's the harm?

But that's just my opinion... which I'm entitled to as that is the whole point of this site... to share opinions. Not to call people morons just because their views aren't identical to yours.

Also for someone to promise you something when they don't even know you, especially when the outcome is based on your personal willpower, is pretty ignorant and naive. I would think being obsessive is worse for you than eating cooked foods. A piece of toast is a far cry from a dead chicken deep fried in vegetable oil.
Ashley, I think all that raw food is making you a little testy. Surving on raw foods?? Sooner or later you will crack and give in.

Dont prolong the agony... have a piece of toast and a hot chocolate.

Life is too short : ) Drink lots of the following juice, it will make you feel so good. Spinach, carrot and celery. Just so happens I started a raw food "week" 2 days ago. I'm good at it because I already eat a lot of fruit.
A raw diet is something you should work up to. Things like toast are really addicting(for me at least). I stopped eating wheat a year ago, so that makes it easier.

Also, you gotta make the diet fun, filling and varied so you won't desire the bad stuff.

Today I ate:

3 pears
7 bananas - a must
pineapple
nuts
seeds
carrots
cellery
yam
lettuce
berries
apples
