Answers: Try to drink milk when you start craving for meat, or yougourt, (if you are lacto vegetarian or microbiotic) you can also eat a quesadilla (two corn tortillas with cheese)
Than can help you .. sometimes your body ask for protein if you need it, that is why you start craving for meat, but with a glass of milk or if you have toffu you can also eat that.. eat mock.

eat boca.

or go get a veggie sub from subway.

think of the tourture.

or go watch.
www.peta.com/tv buy morning star veggie chicken patties. they taste just like chicken, they're so delicious. if this is a joke, not funny.

if it isnt, get morning star. Get tofu, get soy. Get a nice bowl of yummy, holesome, cerel. if not, then get nuts, pb nad j sandwich. maybe even a very nummy grilled cheese, maybe with some tomatoes in it.. Eat fake meat, eat lots of it. sounds like you are misinformed... if you eat chicken please stop calling yourself a vegetarian... you eat animals... you are not a vegetarian.
No... that is the truth. if you don't eat animals you are a vegetarian. if you ate chicken and are hooked... not vegetarian... either get some will power or don't complain. no one made you eat it... you had to lift the fork. sorry for the bluntness but you are doing it to yourself.. stop looking to others for help if you can't even help yourself... if you want to stop then stop. otherwise you are wasting peoples time and causing yourself stress. only you can help yourself. if you want to stop, then just stop. :) eat meat subsitutes. they taste pretty much like the real thing--morningstar, boca, ect. they're all pretty good.

think of where it came from, think of all the disease and fat and cholesterol. watch http://www.meat.org and go to http://www.goveg.com Some people are just meant to be omnivores...have you considered that? If you want the meat, then have a little but don't think of yourself as a vegetarian if that's the route you want to take. There is nothing wrong with eating a healthy diet no matter if it is an herbivore or omnivore one.

I will say this much: I am a strict vegetarian of over 11 years. When I started, I did so gradually. Beef was the first thing to go and at the same time I switched over to organic dairy and then phased that out. Poultry and eggs were next and the last things to go were fish and dairy. This took about a year total to allow my body to adjust. Perhaps you are taking the path to vegetarianism too fast?? If so, take your time and make sure you are educated about the choices you make. If in the end, vegetarianism is not for you, at least you will have learned something about yourself.

I hope that helps. Just eat what you want to eat. The veges you eat are fertilized with rendered animal parts anyways so stop pretending and eat what you want to. Many vegetarians find that their bodies tell them when they are having a protein deficiency. If you didn't start life as a vegetarian, then your body knows that meat is a good source of protein, so you got a meat craving. It's good that you listened to what your body told you. Now you need to decide how you're going to eat from this point on. If you still believe that eating meat is wrong, then find some meat substitutes to wean yourself off the chicken. Then incorporate more beans and nuts into your diet. When you get a meat craving, eat some almonds or a piece of cheese.

Don't beat yourself up over one piece of chicken. You can still be a vegetarian; you just made a mistake. We all do.
