Milk is bad for your health... but?!
Milk is bad for your health... but?
Is Organic Grass Fed Skim milk just as harmful as any dairy regular dairy product? What about sheeps milk cheese or goats milk. Whole Foods sells those as alternatives. I know you advocate dairy free and animal free diet. My girlfriend she says she will never give up meat or dairy, I so far convinced her not to eat red meat and regular hormoned supermarket meats, she eats atleast organic. She loves it to much. It is amazing that some people are pretty stubborn. In addition if all milk organic and free range are all bad for you. What about milk alternatives? I heard soy increases estrogen. So I don't wish to take soy. Is Almond milk, Oat Milk or Rice Milk better. Since these drinks are new to the market , We don't know those long term health effects. Do we know if they also can be harmful since they are not natural foods?
Are there any articles that are non biased that has good facts where I can read or find out more about this? Additional Details

I have been studying nutrition for over a year. I you understand chemistry you will understand ph levels in the body and how cells are formed and how they need to maintain a 7.5 or so acidic level. This is why vegetables are better for you than meats. Meats contain protein but are highly acidic. The body nuetralizes the acid with calcium so we deplete our bodys of calcium from most of the processed foods and meats. Regular milk has a high mucus count and tends to be really hard to digest. Mucus = infection. Search out the truth your self. Why does poison control tell you to drink milk when you swallow a toxic substance because it will mix with the milk and take a really long time to digest. So please only answer if you know what your talking about and you have factual evidence to back it up.

Doubt what I say here is one source Well milk, organic or not, causes calcium loss, and is full of cholesterol.
Organic milk may not be healthy but it doesn't have all the hormones and antibiotics that the cows are jacked up with on normal factory farms.
That link between soy and higher estrogen isn't a very solid fact so I'd recommend looking into that before making a judgment, soy can be a very good source of protein.
Almond and rice milk, i don't think they're unhealthy, but are definitely not as full of protein as soymilk is. Milk's good for you...rich in nutrients and calcium. What on Earth are you talking about!? Milk is awesome and healthy you crunchy granola tree hugger. I have not eaten milk or any other dairy product in ten years. Nor do I take any of the substitutes. There is no need for any of this. Eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, grains and fish. The whole dairy and dairy substitute thing is just a money-making industry ; NOT NECESSARY. nothing is good for you, everything is bad for you these days. eat what you want, somthings gonna kill ya so you may as well go down with a happy tummy. its good for you im not saying milk is good for you and im not saying its bad for you, people consume milk as it gives you protien and helps develope bones when at a young age, however, entering adulthood there is no need for milk in your diet. saying this the milk we drink is from cows, it is not natural for us to drink cows milk which is why we need to filter it and all the rest of the treatment it goes through, cows milk is designed for cows, breast feeding is the only natural sauce of milk for human children. You open your question with an untrue statement - milk is NOT bad for you. Also, red meat is not poison either. WIth ALL ingredients - milk, meat, veggie, whatever, you do best avoiding chemically adjusted foods (additives, hormones etc).
You say "It is amazing that some people are pretty stubborn." - physician heal thyself!!! It's her diet and up to her what she eats - get off her case!!!
You seem to have a view of food based on scare stories and hearsay. I admire your seeking of "good facts" but I suggest you take a step back and find out the good facts behind the suppositions you have already made.
Also, the comment above "it is not natural for us to drink cows milk which is why we need to filter it and all the rest of the treatment it goes through" is untrue - the healthiest, most calcium filled milk is unpasteurised and untreated (and is also the most delicious), the "Treatments" are only to ensure longer shelf-life, or grade the milk by fat and cream content. Very young children don't have the digestive systems to cope with cow's milk, but once they get older it helps nbone growth and provide healthy fats, and it is nutritionally beneficial to adults.
Good luck! I prefer almond and rice milk. Try some chocolate almond milk, tastes better then any other type of milk (in my opinion) Whoever said that it is good for children to drink milk but that adults don't need it, that's not true. Grown women, especially, need to take in a lot of calcium to prevent bone problems, which can be crippling in old age.
Drinking milk is not harmful. It is one of the most nutrient-rich foods in the world. Who is the dietary genius that told you milk is bad for your health? Milk is rich in calcium and many other vitamins that are very good for you, milk fat is not great for your health but skim milk or two percent are very good for you.
