Is there a difference between beet and beetroot?!

Is there a difference between beet and beetroot?


Dumb question I'm sure, but I just have to know.


Answers: I think a lot of people in the US just call them beets. In the UK and other places,they are known as beetroot. Lol !
A Beet, is a Beet. The actual Vegetable.

The Beetroot Is the 'baby' beet Attatched to it's roots. [: Both are the same, is the common beet. They are the same veggie, just different cultures call them different names. I also luv Beet Greens. a beet is a veggie. beetroot is the bbay stuuf on it
