If i said to a vegetarian "kill this chicken or I'll kill two chickens" would they do it?!

Question:

If i said to a vegetarian "kill this chicken or I'll kill two chickens" would they do it?

Answers: I would kill all three, I have a large family to feed. No, everyone is morally autonomous. Just because you are willing to do evil does not mean you can force me to do evil. I love chicken by the way, prefereably curried. great ?, i'll think about it over lunch while im eating my HAMBURGER! vegans are all looney I'm vegetarian - & if you want to kill 2 chickens go ahead I'm not killing anything! I know what a Jedi would do: slice off your hands. They would probably fall asleep because they've heard this statement a million times before

It would still be your responsibility for setting random rules over the chickens life, and your choice to carry out your threat.

As a vegetarian i would not kill the chicken.

This is the same as the tired old question about killing one child to save 2. Would you do it ?
No, how about 1 to save 10, 100, 10K ???

Woud you sleep with George Bush for $1
No, how about $100, $1M, $10M, $100M ????

These moral dilemmas with extreme results don't really prove anything Yes. After they kill it, kill the two anyhow just to make their effort wasted.

Redshirt, has issues. Vegans do not live their lifes for you or others. You can do whatever you want. Obviously other people are going to kill and eat animals, its a personal choice, if you choose to go kill 2 chickens to make up for the 1 that the vegan didnt kill go ahead. what an old question. id kill you to save all three of the chickens. we dont need anymore humans in the world do we. x No! That question doesn't even make any sense.
You are not a vegetarian, I can tell. It's not an issue of others killing animals, we will never be able to stop everyone from killing. We will have nothing to do with it ourselfs. That means killing anyone. Yaaaaawn... no I'd kill myself to avoid being asked this question again I don't think they would.

Answerers: He said "vegetarian" not "vegan". He was speaking to actual people who exist, not the mythical "vegan".

Anyways, no matter how many chickens are executed in this silly experiment, can I have them please? Also, the girl who would kill herself first, can I have your stuff? if a idiot came up to me and asked that question... i think i would kill the idiot instead. problem solved. I think this type of question seems to be more about provoking a reaction, more than about wanting a genuine answer.

And your actions are your responsibility, after all. Are they being forced to gulp down animal crackers at the same time? Yes, we have all seen this question a million times as well.

Michael H, I think your question is actaully scarier about how much to sleep with George Bush? I am not if the US Mint prints that much money!! No i would kill you before you could even harm one of them Of course not. The choice is easy for them because there is no personal investment. To really test one's ethics one must make sure that the person who claims an ethic has a personal investment.

The dilemma should be rephrased: "Kill this chicken or I will kill you."

Now you have a test of moral fibre! I've met only one person in my entire life that I believe would have rather been killed than to take a life of another human being in an act of violence. That was Gordon Zahn of the Pax Christi Movement in the United States. He was the ultimate pacifist.

Somehow I think these sanctimonious V&V folks are a quantum leap away from that kind of self-giving. Certainly, Free Range Mike who raises and sells fodder to those who fatten cattle for slaughter should be the least person to comment. rather you replace chicken with.. um.. you, troll bag.

do a bit more research on veganism.

since you're without a clue.
