Does this sound like a good diet?
what i will have in my diet: vegetables, whole grains, and fruits.
what i won't have: dairy, meat, white bread. trust me i have my reasons to go veg. does this sound good?
Answers: Don't forget to add beans and nuts. Tofu and tempeh are great sources of protein. Soy milk and cereal makes a good breakfast, as does soy yogurt with some granola. And if you're going vegan, watch out for honey in many types of wheat breads. It sounds....starving. Meat is awesome What are you planning for your protein source? What is your plan for adequate calcium? nope...vege n fruits...and u gotta have meat..but avoid carbohydrate.. Assuming it includes beans sounds fine, meets the requirements although make sure that you eat vegetables high in calcium or take supplements. If you can really do it , then yeah its sounds ok Sounds great! How about adding some beans, legumes and pulses? long as it's fresh produce.... and you add seeds.. nuts and legumes.. don't forget your root foods and the tubers.
fresh.. raw, steamed perfectly... (remember steaming is a art of timing... how much mineral do you want?) it's more than perfect...
watch out for processed foods.... stay away from prepackaged as much as you can along with frozen and canned.... lesser minerals and vitamins and much more synthetics... our bodies don't enjoy inert materials...
got a juicer? :D remember fresh juices are an excellent way to start you day. I wouldn't exclude meat and dairy.
Minimize meat.
Dairy is very good for skinny people,others should minimize it. I'm vegetarian also. I say fruit, veggies, and a whole grain diet is good but you do need your protein. Meat is not the only source of protein, so dont worry. You can have nuts (raw brazilian nuts have the most protein), other soy products, and maybe tofu? Legumes (beans) and tofu are essentials to combine with while grains to create better proteins. The reason for this is that each food type contains amino acids that the other lacks, so combining them (e.g., brown rice and beans) makes a more complete and whole protein.
Also, why not spread some pumpkin seeds on salads, or add cashews and tofu to your veggie stir fries? Also consider adding seaweed sprinkles to some salads, as seaweed may be your only food source of Vitamin B-12, unless you also add brewer's yeast to some dishes.
