Since cows are only fed grain, plants, and water, isn't beef vegetarian?!

Question:

Since cows are only fed grain, plants, and water, isn't beef vegetarian?

Cows are only fed grain, plants, and water so in reality it's plants in, plants out. What's the difference between eating an ear of corn, or letting that ear of corn be turned into beef and eating the beef. Either way, you're still eating vegetables. Basically being a meat eater is just being a second hand vegetarian, right?

Answers: I dont care i stil eat it anyway;) Wrong, no matter what an animal eats, flesh is still meat ... it dosent become plant? That doesn't even come close to making sense.

If you are eating something that isn't a vegetable, you aren't a vegetarian, second-hand or otherwise. An interesting theory, my friend. With only one problem. You are still eating beef, despite what it was eating when it was alive, you are still eating something that was alive. Meat is meat. Vegetables are vegetables. no, im afraid not. you are basically still eating the muscle of the animal so no iots nothing to do with the food they eat, the muscle isnt effected by that. if you eat the animal, you are not a vegetarian! You've a (funny) point there. Ashes to ashes dust to dust... we are all only "dust in the wind".
Unfortunately some animals are even being fed recycled animals, antibiotics and steroids and there is certainly nothing natural about that.

My theory is that the cause for obesity in America and most of the developed world is that we eat meat that has been pumped with steroids and it has gotten into our systems making us as big as cows. The Cow is vegetarian - but the beef is a dead cow. Vegetables don't feel pain or suffer, they don't have memories and don't give births. So no - it is not the same.
If you keep thinking wrongly along these lines - you may call yourself a hannibal, because you eat veggies too and they grow from earth, where, at some time or another, were different species, including humans - died and turned into the earth. Yes cows are herbivores.

No, eating a herbivore doesn't make you a herbivore, it makes you an omnivore or a carnivore.

Back to School. Beef is not a vegetarian food, no matter what the cow ate.

Widelbeest is not a vegetarian food, no matter what the wildebeestate.

Tofudebeeste is different, maybe. just when you thought trolls couldnt get any stupider...

no, does the fact that cows only eat grain make them not an animal? no it doesnt, how much of a retarded question was that?

im a vegetarian, yet if you ate me, you would still be a cannible, get the picture? Well, humans are basically blobs of carbon atoms and therefore should be treated as such. although plants are classified as living and are both female and male parts and the seeds need to be fertilized with the male part called pollen.. they don't have feelings or feel pain.. lol stop being a smart *** The point of vegetarianism is to not eat animal life.

There's no such thing as a "second hand vegetarian."

If Jeffrey Dahmer ate only vegetarian victims, would that make him a vegetarian? Sure and I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. The little difference is the animal being killed for it. If it's the same to you, then why not eat directly the vegetables and cereals? Plus the fact that it's a huge waste of cereals, feeding these animals for months before killing them. It uses up 7 times more cereals.

Go vegan! As a human you're not immortal, so you'll die one day. If someone kills you now, you will tell me that it's not a crime but just the acceleation of a natural process ? Basically being a killer is just make nature a bit faster, right ?

PS: it's time for a joke !

How die a blond's nerve cell ?
enolA :D because you are not eating the contents of the cow's stomach.. you are eating the cow.. You aren't eating the plant.. Cows aren't "made of" the vegetables they eat, they are made of muscle, organs, tissue, just like we are..

BTW.. in today's greed-filled meat industry, cows AREN'T just fed healthy grains and stuff like they used to be.. they're fed hormones to make them bigger faster (make more money) and ground up cows and ground up sheep mixed with the grain.. This is so unatural it causes health problems for the cows (ever heard of "mad Cow" disease??)

That is one major reason why many vegetarians feel beef is practically unsafe to eat. I think that's possibly one of the most rediculous questions I have ever seen. Congratulations. No it is not. Cows are Vegetarians but to eat them is not.
Strange logic but interesting train of thought.

If I thought you were serious I'd clout you upside your head. ;-} with my carrot.

Slainté (to your health) Correct. no it still used to say moo.
