Question:

Vegetarians, your favorite thing that goes with crackers?

i just want some ideas. i am a new veg, i became one today, and would luv 2 know some yummy stuff that goes well with crackers. i had hummus on a cracker today and it's good, a little spicy, but good. anyways what goes good with crackers?

Answers: yogurt dip (like tzatsiki, which is yogurt and cucumber), peanut butter and/or jelly (the ones from trader joes are good, and they make some without any sugar.. they use grape juice instead, and its great). they also make a TON of different hummus'.. my favorites are the eggplant hummus (tastes GREAT), as well as the garlic.. they also have roasted red pepper hummus, as well as jalapeno, etc. Anywho, they also have a great spinach dip, and a good artichoke dip. Don't forget good ol' cheese and crackers. i'd suggest you try meatless corn dogs. they are SO good w/ketchup, hehe. also, give morningstar (meatless) stuff a try.. i enjoy their foods, like the breakfast sausage and the "chicken" nuggets. also like veggie burgers (like boca burgers). cheese and crackers is also good with fruit like grapes or pears.. i'm sure you'll find a ton more ideas just browsing the stores! good luck! :o) spinach dip, artichoke dip. Also good with bagette bread. peanut butter well congrats on becoming a vegetarian!! I've been a vegetarian for almost 7 years now..lets see..what goes good with crackers...? I think that you should try a hummus dip..or you can buy "soy cheese".which is also good.. there are also all kinds of yummy recipes on this website which i love..hope i helped..-lol-..<3 almond butter and a little saffron Vegetarian for about 10 years.
Cheese for me please!
Congratulations of your decision. Good luck! cheese whiz Curry, indeed. Try it! You can get hummus in several flavors & they're all good on crackers, bread or vegetables. I also like peanut butter, sometimes jam, tahini, almond or cashew butter when I can afford them. If you're not vegan, you can use either regular or soy cheese (some soy cheeses are vegan, but not many).
Once you've done some experimenting, you'll discover lots of other stuff that goes great with crackers.
