Vegetarianism?
I am doing a paper on Vegetarianism -can you get all of your nurteins(meaning iron,vitamin c and all those things)without a meat diet..I was wondering can some give some good websites and books that support my belief or that can point me the right direction.Thanks a lot Additional Details

The Vegetarian Resource Group has sections for everything imaginable - nutrition, recipes, kids, etc.
http://www.vrg.org/ Considering vitamin C is primarily in citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers and other plant-type foods, getting that will be no problem on a vegetarian diet.
Iron is a little more difficult, as non-heme iron, the type found in foods such as spinach, dark green leafies, and chickpeas, does not bind as easily. Eat vitamin C-rich foods with iron for optimum absorption.
Unless you don't get enough calories, or you eat primarily junk food, protein is not a problem.
There are several organizations that will send you a free veg starter guide. Check out Compassion Over Killing (www.cok.net). www.vegweb.com is also a great all-around resource for veg*ans. You can find links to other groups that will also be happy to provide you with information.

vitamins in vegetables... then you'll come across quite a few sites... that not only list the vitamins but minerals.. nutrients is a generalized term.. most nutrients in foods are added....

if you're doing a paper.. you really must get into practice on how to proceed with research.
there's more vitamins and minerals in vegetables and fruits than in meat.
simple as that.. do your research... why the laziness? is it all that meat you're eating making you slouchy? Two great books
