Scroll down to the question Are Silk products vegan? Yes there is nothing of a animal in it. LUV IT! Yes, all varieties of Silk are suitable for vegans. This includes vanilla, chocolate, mocha, chai, and (so excited it will be here soon) Silk Nog. Enjoy! Yes and yummy silk NOG :D
You can also try choclate almond milk (my favorite!) Yes, definitely! I absolutely love Silk Chocolate Milk.

Kim at: http://www.peaceful-organic-planet.com/h... yeah, enjoy! silk soy milk is not vegan.
weird how the website say that's vegan.
there was also another website saying other soy milk was 100% vegan and their ingreidnts was not completely vegan. you have to make sure it's vegan yourself.

try westsoy instead: http://www.westsoy.biz/products/product/...

I can already tell I'll be getting a lot of thumbs down and that's fine.. doesn't change the fact that silk soy milk is not vegan. Why couldn't you?

Do you people have rules, like it's Kosher or something? I am a former chef and not only drink soya milk products but cook with them due to my medical condition.

And to set the record straight it may say chocolate but like the dairy cousin it is cocoa in it not melted chocolate, it would coagulate and bind up in refrigeration, like chcoclate syrup it is a cooked product with sugars, whey or other dairy based additives and cocoa powder. For soya product, it is best to read the label, in some product whey powder or proteins are used like with soya cheese varietys.

With soya milk, rice milk, almond and oat milks flavoured with strawberry, chocolate or vanilla are flavour during the same pasturization process dairy mlik is done by not to kill bacteria but to set the flavours and keep them from separating.
