Good whole wheat crackers for a vegetarian?!

Question:

Good whole wheat crackers for a vegetarian?

and i would also like some stuff that goes besides hummus, thanks.

Answers: Vegetable Thins, made by Mr. Christie. made with wheat and deliscious! im eating them right now it depends.. what you can do is key word search the brand name of the company online.. and see if they're 'vegan friendly'...

IE: saltines vegan friendly?

you'll pretty much have to make your own analisis with research like this...

but this is the best you can do.. the more positive results.. the better the chances are the brand you have of that particular item you are in question of may be what you are seeking.

but not always... it takes your own determination. Eat Jacob's biscuit! Its delicious!! (I dunno if its only in Malaysia but you should try it coz its good for vegetarians) WASA flat bread. I also think the TLC Kashi crackers are vegetarian. both are good tasty choices. try soy cheese, peanut butter, honey, olive tapenade, a pesto, or a roasted red pepper sauce as toppings. My favorites are Crispy Wheats, made by (I think) Nature's Own. They are like a more natural, vegan Wheat Thins. They are perfect with hummus, salsa, or on their own. Check it out. Trader Joe's has stone ground wheat crackers and I love them. They're good with everything from pb&j to cheese to peach salsa.

If you're not into hummus, you can make something similar but with a different taste out of garlic and white beans (like great northern beans) by sauteeing 3 cloves of chopped garlic in olive oil and adding a whole can of beans and their juice to it to simmer. You then mash the beans up and add some herbs like rosemary, thyme and/or black pepper and it's really awesome - and great for getting protein. Well, I really like "All Bran" garlic and herb flavor crackers, very high fiber and tasty.

You can try different types of hummus, there's more than one flavor...

Also, guacamole is great. Or dip it straight into salsa, or a mashed ripe avocado (though a single avocado has 300+ calories, so be careful with those).

Also try peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, soy nut butter, etc.
