Sorry, that should read "*would* you eat a chimpanzee" Good question. Shows how illogical some people are. I give equal rights to all animals (human or not), so I don't eat or exploit any.

Go vegan! No, too tough! Monkeys are very muscular and lean. Cattle are the best because they are not so muscular, and not so tough. A big old Porterhouse steak is about the best eats on the planet!! I would try anything once. No! I could not imagine that tasting good and even if people said it did i still wouldn't. I guess it would depend on how hungry I was. Lost in the jungles of Africa on the brink of starvation -- absolutely.

If chimp just all of sudden appeared on the menu at the nearby diner, I would probably pass.

Two reasons: 1) I already eat very little meat and have been reducing it although I am not yet ready to make a veggie pludge. So no point in adding new meats.

2) I prefer to as much as possible buy locally grown food, there are chicken farms in the area, chimp would need to be imported. Nah, would not eat a chimp, they look too much like people. I prefer eating cows, pigs or chooks, but only if I don't know their names. That depends, there are a lot of diseases apes carry so I would be cautious about that. Also, aren't chimps endangered? It may sound like a stupid reason to vegs, but I don't want to eat an animal if it's endangered. I'm fine with eating animals if there are plenty of them, but I don't want to eat a species into extinction. If it wasn't endangered and there was some way for me to know it would be disease-free then it would depend on if it tasted good to me. I'm not going to eat something that doesn't taste good. I'd try it, and if it tasted good I would continue to eat it.
Question for vegetarians. WOuld you eat lima beans? Why or why not?
I'd give the same answer. I've tried them but I didn't like them so in the future I will pass on them. why would i eat a chimp? people eating monkeys is where AIDS comes from

this is why omnivores think vegetarians are nuts because of dumbass questions like this

go eat some tofu that's flavored and shaped to look like meat but taste like crap and shut up

would you eat the algae in my fish tank, tard? NO AND THATS A VERY STRANGE QUESTION.

SORRY FOR THE CAPS LETTER BUT I DON'T FEEL LIKE TURNING IT OFF. monkey, squirels and other stuff, meat is meat, we humans are what you called opportunist. we eat what we can or what we need to survive. if you want to eat vegetables then good for you, but for you alone. don't ask stupid questions like would you eat chimpanzee. would you eat sewer moss?? its also a plant, its people's preference if they want to eat meat or be vegans. meat is a part of our daily needs, not a lot but it still is. I prefer to consume human beings. MMMmmm. Especially lean 20 sometings. The thighs and biceps taste real good with HP sauce. They don't have to be imported. Just get one that has been killed by vivisectors. It's not within the sphere of my cultural experience. Nor, to the best of my knowledge, are chimpanzees within the diet of any culture. There are cultures that eat monkey, however. Certainly at one time . . . and there still may be certain cultures that eat humans . . . not so much as a diet choice but as a religio-social activity. There is one culture that feasts on dead relatives. I surprised somebody didn't say it tastes like chicken. Hmm. Good question.

I don't know if I would. Never had the oppourtunity. Not alot of chimps in Arizona.

Were it to ever become an option, I suppose I would then decide. I doubt it will though... too similar to humans for it to become widely accepted. My rule is: no eating anything that can do sign language or wear overalls. yeah would give it a go, I presume it would be like kangaroo, now thats tasty. I have also tried snake, bison, crocodile, turtle, goanna, and witchetty grubs. Man too many to mention, don't be scared of eating anything, you may find it to be a delicacy. This is an interesting question, not sure why you picked a chimp. I guess the likeness to humans? Obviously the answer is no, unless like Me said, I was starving to death. If that was the case I don't think anyone could say they wouldn't. Once your survival instincts kick in, your body wouldn't let itself starve to death and you would be surprised what one would eat. IE: The Rugby Team whose airplane crashed in the Andes Mountains and had to resort to cannibalism to survive.
