I recently became vegetarian?!

Question:

I recently became vegetarian?

Recommend me some stuff to make! I'm not going vegan because I think it's morally acceptable to let animals be kept in captivity (obviously unless they're being mistreated, wherein obvious steps under the law should be taken).

But anyway, what are some good things to try out?

Answers: goveg.com and veganoutreach.com have great recipes. Check your library your vegetarian cookbook. There are a lot of frozen/prepared veggie friendly meals. Just look around a bit. Theres tons of options.

and congrats on the change! stir fry . . . you can use anything you like and make it different every time - any veggies with either beans or tofu served on brown rice - and it's a complete meal with everything you need in one dish. it's vegan, too.

vegetarian sandwiches . . . also is good for variety and having everything you need in one plate!

stuffed peppers . . . with brown rice & lentils or stuffed with polenta and tofu. either/both with tomato sauce.

salads with any vegetable around . . . add beans for more protein. What I don't get is why is it ok to kill plants ...Scientific research show that plants show stress when rooted up..
