For Vegitarians [OR] Vegans ....?!

Question:

For Vegitarians [OR] Vegans ....?

Hi! I am 16 and have been a vegan for almost 9 yrs. My whole family is vegans actualy. :) we r looking for something new too eat. But for those who don't know what it is [Vegan] is where we don't eat anything from an animal [meat, egs, milk, cheese, etc.]
If you have any good sites for vegans [or vegitarians] that have things kids will like I would appriceate it!!

Answers: Go international!! Learn about Indian curries (mostly potatoes and other vegetables with certain seasonings.. soo easy to make vegan!) They can be made mild (I know Indian food is notorious for being flaming hot) and they are so tasty!!! Really yummy with flat bread (like pita bread, or what the Indians call chapati)..

Learn about Korean chapche (clear starch noodles with vegetables...easy to make w/o meat, cheese, or eggs) SOO delicious!!

See? Explore different ethnic dishes.. there are alot of wonderful foods (especially Asian and Indian) that are practically vegan, or easy to make vegan!!

You'll be glad you discovered some of those treasures!!

Oh.. I love a nice sandwich with Hummus (roasted red pepper is the best) and "fried" tofu ("Fried in a non-stick skillet with soy sauce and nutritional yeast) and pickles and tomatoes.. YUM!! try this site www.fabulousfoods.com - vegetarian Vegan with a Vengeance...a book, but a great one! Does your family grow it's own vegetables? If not, you aren't a vegan. The produce you buy from the store was fertilized by rendered animal parts. Even the "organic" ones. That is non-vegan. They literally ground up and boil animals and use some of the chemicals that are created to fertilize your produce.

There's a list near the bottom of the page of what they use rendered animal parts for. The paragraphs titled "Disheartening Specifics". Mix your favorite veggies in a skillet with some olive oil and cook for 5 minutes. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic and cook for 5 more minutes.

Blend chickapees, onions, garlic, and slice roma tomatos together. Cook some of your favorite vegetables including diced bell peppers in a skillet and add to the soup. Add in a touch of red peper and ground cumin.

Buy or make some vegan meatballs and slow cook them with some vegan grape jam and Heinz tomato ketchup sauce (not the ketchup itself). Put on a vegan role and add a few slices of veggie provalone cheese (make sure you find them without casien.) Hey,
