What are some good High Protien things I can eat?


Other then meat, eggs and cheese


Answers: one of my favorite recipes:

sautee 2 cloves of chopped garlic in 2 tbs of olive oil until browned

add one can of great northern beans and their juice and cook for about 10 minutes

add a pinch of rosemary, thyme and black pepper

mash the beans into a mush and serve as a dip for anything from fresh veggies to crackers to tomato slices or on top of fresh salads. I know you said not meat, but recently I had a very thin turkey cutlett. 28g of protein for 4oz of turkey.

I cooked a boneless skinless chicken breast in the microwave in a covered dish with some added chicken broth.

I put the black beans on a the stove in a pot.

I fixed a salad mix

Then put the chicken and beans on top and sprinkled with some garlic powder and red pepper.

It was really good.

oh, and I put some shredded fat free cheddar cheese Black beans are great because they are so low in fat and calories. Also, nuts are a great source of protein. TOFU! Tofu is the best source of protein for vegetarians. Even better; theres hundreds of different ways to cook tofu, so it can be made the way you want it.

If you are looking for something also fat free, and eat fish, the imitation crab meat is a great source (it is really fish). I give it to my children as a low fat snack food. Real crab is very fattening.

Soya beans, otherwise known as edanomi, are also very high in protein. They are also high fiber and low fat. They are yummy cold, so another great snack food. CHEESE IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU SO STICK TO ALMONDS, CHICKEN , EGG WHITES, LEAN MEATS, AVOCADO, FISH, AND ALSO CHECK OUT PROTIEN POWDERS THAT YOU CAN DRINK IN THE MORNING THERE GREAT! TAKE CARE. Greek Yogurt (could be high in fat, so get the low fat or fat free version Fage -pronounced fa yay- brand is good), egg whites, almond butter (but it's high in fat -the healthy fat- still you can't overdue it), Spriulina chocolate protien powder, beans (kidney, black beans, ect.- make chili with lean, drained chop meat and add the beans and spices that is pretty healthy, high protien, and taste really good), lean meats, tofu.
