In the V&V section...?!

Question:

In the V&V section...?

what is peoples obsessions with giving stupid answers to vegetarian questions?

for example " try putting bacon in it" and things like that, are they really that stupid or are they trying to be funny? cause ironically, if they were trying to be funny they end up looking stupid usually. so what is the point to their mindless banter?

iv noticed how none of them have answered yet, come on we would like to know why you do it from the horses mouth! These people love to point out people's differences and remain fractured rather than finding commonality to all things Sometimes people do not understand, there are different and varying degrees of vegetarianism, as I am sure you well know...some people will eat chicken and fish...some will eat eggs, some will only eat veggies...and maybe that is what brings on some of the hecklers...but really, think about it...if they were not being critical (and that is what it is) of vegetarians then they would be critical of something or someone else.... Absolute weightlessness in the regional components of the human brain area....They're Stupid!!! I suppose they are amusing themselves. It's a kind of mental masturbation. Nothing wrong with that, mind you, as long as you don't do it in public. IQs of 75 or lower. Children, drop outs, drunks and idiots all have access to the internet.

Never mind the answers, check out some of the questions !! I agree with Kuntster. Well, I do think they are having a bit of fun for themselves -- at your expense -- but fun nonetheless. They want to push your buttons---and they succeed.

It's always amazes me why y'all cannot help but rise to the bait? I understand why, but it is quite amazing.

I must say, Freddy--you in particular post some strange things . . . not only your comments, but questions as well.

And while the follow question of yours may not be a V&V questions it is indicative of where your mind is ... Here is a question you have asked:

"If the devil has tricked people into believing in dinosaurs then how do we know the bible isnt a trick?"

I think "Krister's" comment re: IQ applies here. (chuckle, chuckle) Foolishness, unuanced information, moral fraud, and childish rants makes you targets for satire, parody and sarcasm. You have reaped what you have sown. It's not an obsession, we just know you would like it better with "bacon in it". What's wrong with "try putting bacon on it"? Don't they make vege-bacon?

Looks like skully has some of you pegged. I agree...some people simply cannot accept that others have different ideas. They do look stupid and very ignorant. Personally I'm kind of sick of it! This is suppose to be a learning forum, not a debate section. I agree with you. There are a lot of stupid Q & A that goes on in here. I think people do want to get a rise out of you when they answer that way and when they ask questions the way they do. Sometimes it can be humorous but most of the time it becomes tiring. I mena how many mmore times can the animal cracker question be asked?

Me So Soup- that was a funny and witty response! It can be fun to tease people who are different than the rest... Haven't we, at one time or another, seen someone make fun of the girl who styled her hair differently... or laugh at the person in the wheelchair? I think that these people feel threatened by vegans and vegetarians, because they sense that their diets and lifestyles are rejected by those of us who choose not to eat meat and to be humane towards animals. Rather than trying to see our point-of-view or simply leaving well enough alone, they have to try to antagonize us. They do it to bug us most of the time. There are those that do it because they have a vested interest in the meat industry in some way and want to undermine vegetarians/vegans. Then there are the ones who actually do it without realizing they have posted their answer in the v&v section because on Answers homepage you can see all of the questions from all different areas.

There seems to be a growing problem with non veggies acting like v&v is their own personal chat room, they post so many things that have no relevance to food or drink, too.
