Slainté(to your health) The leaf part of a strawberry is edible. It doesn't taste good though, so you'll probably want to get rid of it. no It is not considered edible. I'm sure if you are compelled to eat it, it will not hurt you. I don't think it will hurt you. By the way did you know that it is used to make natural strawberry flavor. like bridget said....it is edible and will bring you no harm other than leave you with a bad taste in your mouth after a great strawberry....hence I would skip it! no No it's not as far as I know but you can make tea from the leafs. It won't hurt you if you eat it but you probably won't like the feel of the leafs in your mouth and you might choke on them! Strawberry leafs make a good poltice for drawing infections from sores! Strawberry leaf tea is a medicinal tea not a pleasure tea!
