Veggie burgers?!
Veggie burgers?
Does anyone out there know where I can get a really good veggie burger or a recipe on how to make one? The one that I made called for oats, carrots, bellpepper, garlic, onion. kidney beans, and ketchup and blend it all together. It tasted terrible.I'm trying out a few vegetarian recipes as I decide to go vegetarian . Even though my veggie burger recipe (found on the internet) did not turn out so well I do not want to give up on it because I hear that they taste really good. So please if anyone knows how or where to get a good veggie burger please let me know. Thanks

A warning though, most of them are vegetarian, not vegan. You don't have to use a specific recipe. The one you listed doesn't sound very good to me, but you can always tweak recipes to your own liking. I have been experimenting with making my own veggie burgers because I don't usually like the pre made frozen ones and they often have more sodium in them than I want. Check the ingredients list because some brands contain eggs if that is a concern for you. It's really all about trying different foods and ways to cook them to find out what you do and do not like.
