Answers: Soybeans (and all other legumes) do contain significant amounts of calcium. Soymilk is fortified with calcium because the soymilk production process removes the natural calcium from soybeans, and also to approach the calcium content of cow milk.
However, given the phytic acid content of pure soybeans, calcium absorption is low compared to other legumes.

Tofu is a better source because calcium sulfate is added during processing. i think so Yes, naturally soybeans do have calcium. I have eaten soybeans (soymilk) my whole life as a source of calcium because i can't eat dairy and i tend not to get genetically modified food so i discovered that yes, soybeans do aturally have calcium.

Visit the wikipedia page for ssoybeans, that page says they do. i belive they do thats why they are a veteable No not naturally but when tofu is made calcium is used as a coagulating agent. NO!!!
Soybeans do not contain ANY calcium. That's why soymilk is fortified with calcium. If you compare soymilks some have calcium and some don't, and the ones that do say on the front that it has been fortified. Green leafy vegetables are a far superior source of calcium.

They also contain iron and calcium ascorbate.

: ) Yes,soybeans naturally have a lot of calcium.They also contain high amounts of anti-carcinogens,particularly isoflavones.These isoflavones(most notably genistein) protect against cancer in sevaral ways.In animals,genistein has been shown 2 act as anti-estrogen,which reduces the risk of hormone-related cancers such as breast cacer.Soybeans are also an excellent source of protein .If ur are not into soybeans try soymilk,miso and alfalfa sprouts.
