Is milk classed as vegan?!

Question:

Is milk classed as vegan?

Answers: No its animal product It is dairy. Not unless it's soymilk. I had a friend who was a vegan and she wouldn't eat any dairy at all so I don't think milk can be considered vegan (unless it's soy milk) No it is definately not. unless its soy milk. Absolutely not. If it is an animal product in any way it is not vegan. Other things that you probably have not considered to not be vegan:

wool (cashmere and angora as well)
silk (you have to boil the chrysallis, therefore killingthe butterfly inside)
leather (from a dead cow or pig)
eggs
honey (made by bees, which are also animals)
gelatin (made from fish or beef bones)

Some soaps are also non-vegan since they are made with rendered fat. Same thing with candles that can be made with tallow or beeswax. Vegan means a person wont eat or use anything containing any animal products or bi-products. So no milk, butter, cheese, cream, Jello, gummy bears, chocolate, marshmallows, or anything that contains lard (many types of cookies still use lard)
The list is endless. No, unless it's soy milk, which somehow tastes better in the USA than the UK. from an animal, no. soy, yes.
anything from an animal is not vegan a vegetarian who omits all animal products

i vote yes No, milk is not classed as vegan because it comes from an animal. Soymilk on the other hand is classed as vegan because it does not come from an animal but from soy. No. There are lacto-ovo vegans, though. Who eat eggs and milk and milk products.
Veganism is a very healthy lifestyle, but it's too hard for some people. Maye vegetarianism is the first step. I was a vegetarian four years before I became vegan. Take it slow, and it's ok if you slip. Soy milk is vegan. Vegans don't eat anything that comes from an animal. And where does milk come from? No, veganism seeks to exclude ALL products that come from animals. Vegetarians may drink cow's milk, but vegans do not. not unless it is legume milk, nut milk, seed milk, or grain milk.

if it came from an animal, it's not vegan ;)
