What type of vegetarian are you?!
Answers: Vegetarian—There are several categories of vegetarians, all of whom avoid meat and/or animal products. The vegan or total vegetarian diet includes only foods from plants: fruits, vegetables, legumes (dried beans and peas), grains, seeds, and nuts. The lactovegetarian diet includes plant foods plus cheese and other dairy products. The ovo-lactovegetarian (or lacto-ovovege-tarian) diet also includes eggs. Semi-vegetarians do not eat red meat but include chicken and fish with plant foods, dairy products, and eggs.
Proud vegan.

I'm lactovegetarian, only because i cant give up cheese. I hate eggs and switched to soymilk a long time ago.
I eat meat as little as possible. I am a "secret vegetarian". My
family thinks I'm whacked if I say I'm vegetarian. So I will eat meat on rare occasions. You know, holiday dinners and such...
So I am a Secret Vegetarian...

There really are no types.
You either are a vegetarian or you aren't.
Vegans are just strict vegetarians, semi-vegetarians aren't vegetarians at all, and lacto-ovo vegetarians are just vegetarians that choose to consume dairy and eggs.
I am a vegetarian that chooses not to consume dairy and eggs.
I am a flexitarian.
proud, too.
There is no such thing as a "semi-vegetarian" or "flexitarian".
You are either veg or not.
If you eat ants, worms or clams, you are not vegetarian.

Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian. I eat eggs and drink milk because I live with my parents still, and they cook for me, and since I already only eat the side dishes, it would be much harder for me to eat dinner every night. Once I move out I'll probably stop eating eggs.
lacto ovo vegetarian for 10 years
Krister - what if you just smack clams?
The straight kind.
"Semi-vegetarians do not eat red meat but include chicken and fish with plant foods, dairy products, and eggs."
there is no such thing as a "semi-vegetarian". oxymoron term.
I'm a semi vegetarian, I eat some chicken, duck and goose because I simply can't give it up - and the same goes for seafood. I was just never able to make that transition. I do however try to buy organic and free range to make sure that at least the animals weren't caged up and has some time in their lives to run around.
Red meat was easy to give up - never had the taste for it and I can substitute turkey and chicken for almost anything.
Why shoud anyone be vegetarian? We need meat too. Talk about murdering animals, it prevents overpopulation. If you plan to eat the animal and not waste anything, kill it, it's what they are for. I am the anti-vegan, fear me.
