Is normal beer vegan friendly?!
Answers: like say budlight....
Anheuser-Busch is vegan friendly. Miller too.
winenut----veganism is devoid of logic....I've tried that angle.
Bud has water, barley, hops, rice and yeast in it. I think that's all vegan.
Budweiser is listed as vegan so I would think Bud Light would be as well.
Here's a website that lists vegan friendly alcohols: http://veganproducts.org/drinks.html#Bee...
It's listed as vegan on this site:

:]
Edit:
Winenut... are you familiar with the biological kingdoms?
(you know-- animalia, plantae, fungi, etc.)
We [vegetarians] don't eat animals.
So just in case you didn't know, yeast are classified as fungi-- and are not in the kingdom animalia.
Do *you* think that fungi can feel pain?
And the example that you gave does not make sense.
You said if not yeast, then mold, then worms, then clams, then fish...
Yeast and mold are fungi. Worms, clams, and fish are animals. You jumped clean over to another kingdom...
You have to check the ingredients. Some beers use egg to up the foam content. You can call the number on the back, usually.
no most mass production beer is not vegan friendly.
of course none list all of the ingredients... some clearing agents that are used in beers are from gelatin which is from pig.
then the stouts and darker beers are known to use steer product... (beef fats for consistancy)
and some use egg for froth... helping the carbonation when co2 is used basically instead of corn sugar.
I don't see how any fermented product is. As far as vegans take it, how do they suddenly draw the line at yeast? I mean, when you research that some product is a byproduct of a byproduct of a cow tail or something, and therefore won't eat/use it, how do you all of the sudden just ignore that yeast are living things? Maybe it's a logical fallicy, but if you can eat yeast, then why not mold, and if not mold, then why not worms, and if not worms, then why not clams, and if not clams, then why not fish............on and on and on.
You can find lists of vegan beers on various vegan websites. All German beers are vegan and most of the major American brewers (Anheuser Busch, which makes Bud, Coors, Miller, Pabst) are all vegan. Many microbrews are not, though. Try googling "vegan beer" for a list if you're not sticking to Bud Light.
you drink beer? thats wrong and the bible says so! stop now! some beers have animal byproducts. i read it.
