There are many classes.

A lacto-ovo-vegetarian will eat eggs and drink milk, but no other animal products.

An ovo-vegetarian will eat egss, but no other animal products.

A vegetarian will not eat any animal parts or drink milk, but they may eat honey, use animal based glue, wear silk, or wear leather.

A vegan is a person that neither eats nor uses any animal by-products. No meat, milk, eggs, leather, silk, honey, glue... nothing that has to come from an animal source.
Vegetarians are people who do not believe in eating meat because it is a life but they do eat things associated from the animal such as milk or cheese from Cows. Vegans do not associate with any parts of the animal. Vegans only eat foods that are grown.
A vegan is a vegetarian who eats plant products only, especially one who uses no products derived from animals, as fur or leather, wheras a vegetarian is a person who does not eat or does not believe in eating meat, fish, fowl, or, in some cases, any food derived from animals, as eggs or cheese, but subsists on vegetables, fruits, nuts, grain, etc.

Hope this helped!
Vegetarians can be some what normal. Vegans are so far out whack years of mental therapy will not even help them. Be on the safe side and just serve them water and a carrot.
vegans are ovo-lacto vegetarians meaning they don't eat milk or cheese or any other animal products. Vegetarians don't eat meat but will eat some animal products. Really just depends on the person.
Vegetarians do not eat meat (of ANY animal) but may include dairy products and eggs, although not all do. Vegans do not eat any animal products at all (no meat, no dairy, no eggs, no honey.) Neither eats slaughter by-products like rennet or gelatin. To minimize your efforts, look for a tasty vegan recipe; that way all your veg relatives can eat the same dish or dishes. I don't know what kind of food or event you're looking for so I can't really recommend a particular dish. But, google vegan recipes and you'll get plenty to choose from.
