Looking for some recommendations on vegetarian cooking books?!

Question: my sister birthday is coming up, lately she has taken some intererst in vegetarian food and cooking, and i thought this can be a great B-day present for her.
so i am thinking maybe two books.

BTW i will be buying the books via amazon so any links to books on that site will be great.

thanks in advance

Look up any books by Deborah Madison. That's what I did for a friend. Or any Moosewood cookbook.
I'm greek orthodox and we're fasting more than not most of the year....my favorite cook books are: The Greek Vegetarian and The Lenten Cook Book.
The moosewood cookbooks are excellent for vegetarians who enjoy tasty, healthy, and original recipes. I had the pleasure of actually visiting the moosewood restaurant this summer (in Ithaca, New York) and their food is splendid. Here's the amazon url: http://www.amazon.com/Moosewood-Cookbook...
There are a couple of other moosewood cookbooks if this one isn't perfect; I simply picked a basic one.
Good luck!
are you indian ? well you can give sanjeev kapoor's indian vegetarian book or tarla dalal .... check up the site they have there own sites u can buy books through that !
I like Sarah Kramer and Tanya Barnard's "How it All Vegan!" and "Garden of Vegan" as well as Sarah Kramer's "La Dolce Vegan!"

Isa Chandra Moskowitz's "Vegan with a Vengeance" and "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World" are also fun.
