Used to grow carrots and one year they were all ready at the same time. Keep them in the shed or garage in a bag of earth or sand and they will stay crisp all winter.
maybe they aren't fresh enough when you buy them, cos i know when i buy a big bag of carrots and put it in the bottom of the fridge where it's good and cold, they last me a month or more!
Maybe you could try freezing them?
I agree with Sarah!

I don't know what kind of carrots you are buying but in my fridge... they just don't go bad! Those little suckers seem to last forever!

I have heard that if you wrap celery in tin foil right away it lasts longer, so try it with your carrots. That may work.
invest in a vacuum sealer or those new bags that extends the life of your fruits and veggies.they can be ordered online.
I used to breed rabbits so used to have the same problem. The best way is to place them in a vegatbale bag (buy from kleeneze)..or eqivulant, e.g...a p.e bag, keep the bag closed all the time, and put it in a dark place. This should prolong the life of your little buddies grub.!..they don't like them when they are soft, because they are less tasty and they like to use their teeth they find it more enjoyable and plus its good exercise for their teeth and jaws.
When you buy the carrots, take them out of any plastic wrapping they might have come in, and wrap them in newspaper. I keep mine like that in the vegetable drawer of my fridge, and they stay crunchy for weeks.
Hmm... my carrots last a while.

Maybe you are washing the carrots in the bag that they came in. That will cause them to mold faster. Maybe you're doing that rather than taking out carrots and washing them.
i would suggest storing all the carrots in a zip-lock bag. Suck the air out with a vaccums nozzle. It may sound crazy, but it works.
dont leave them in the bag you bought them in.
put them in a tupperware tub in the fridge. wont go soft then .
or buy a smaller bag 2 x a week, rather than one big bag!!
idk if you get baby or reg they have actual rabbit food and thats healthier i think
Carrots should only be a treat for rabbits.Buy them loose and give them special rabbit food you can get from petshops. our rabbit loves apple, give it spinach, cauliflower stalks and practically anything green except lettuce.
