Is Aunt Jemimas wheat pancakes Vegan if I omit egg and milk?!

Question: I usually eat veggies and fruits but we would like to have some pancakes and we realy dont have health stores in my area so its a little hard to find things. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is anything in these pancakes that are not vegan? I hate reading the back of a box and having no idea what the hell it really is...

Thanks for your help

Personally, I would not trust the box mix since it has been through processing in a plant where they make who knows what else. If you make your own in a large batch, seal it in an airtight container and in the fridge, it should last up to six months. Plus you will have a go to pancake mix anytime you want pancakes.

Here's a simple recipe:

Fluffy Vegan Pancakes
20 min 5 min prep

2 cups flour (I like King Arthur's white whole wheat)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups soymilk
2 tablespoons oil

1. Sift the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a large bowl.
2. Add the soymilk and oil and mix until "just mixed.".
3. Toss in any extras you might want--blueberries, chocolate chips, etc.
4. Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat.
5. Drop 2-3 tablespoons of batter into the skillet and cover.
6. Flip when the middle starts to bubble and cover again.
7. Keep the made pancakes in the oven at about 200 degrees while you're finishing the others so they don't get cold.
8. Enjoy with fresh fruit or syrup!

Hope that helps....happy cooking!
Here are vegan pancakes they look pretty simple:
3 cups of flour
3 tablespoons raw sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups soymilk

Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Carefully pour it onto a preheated pan.
Cook each side until it is golden brown.
I'm sorry you can't use white flour. It's non-vegan. Use buckwheat flour. And you can't use Aunt Jemimas mix . . . It's not vegan. So you will have to make it from scratch. Tough you want pancakes. Make them from scratch so you will not be de-veganized. Welcome to a lifetime of denial of the simple things in life.
im not vegan but i always make mine from scratch - they end up being vegan anyhow cause i dont eat eggs nor milk. use the recipe that person gave you - im def going to try it myself. and wheat pancakes are 100 times better than that aunt jamima and white flour crap...
