No, most of them aren't vegetarian. I am astonished at how many people are misinformed and/or lying to you on here.

There are, I believe a few of them which aren't sold everywhere which lack GELATIN, and are therefore veg, but that's about it. If you want to go with a different brand of toaster pastries, you can find many without gelatin, especially in a health-food/organic food store.
yeah!
Um, yeah. There is no meat in Pop Tarts.
Yes

There isn't any meat in pop tarts.

They are not, however, vegan.
Yep, no meat what so ever.
I completely agree with you Amy. Vegetarian, yes. Vegan, no.
no no meat in there
That would taste nasty
no there i think they use gelatin which is derived from meat
Yes but they aren't good for you so what difference does it make.
The one's that have frosting actually have gelatin in them,so they aren't vegetarian.
You need to look at the ingredient list on a box. There may be egg product or whey (milk protein) in them. If you are not a vegan who eats no animal products at all Pop Tarts should be OK, I doubt they contain animal rendering but they are probably high in artificial fats and sweeteners.
Sounds like someone could use some brain food!
They are vegetarian, but not vegan.
except for the barbecue chicken and roast beef ones, yea
For me, no. Some of them contain gelatin. For some that eat gelatin, yes.
Some, but they are full of hydrogenated oils. This is an artificial fat (aka trans fat) that pollutes your body by replacing the good Omega -3 fatty acids and sticking around like bits of plastic in your intestines and arteries. Completely unnecessary, but addictive!
Pop Tarts are not vegetarian!

Eat the organic ones, your sure they wont have any egg or gelation products!

Better safe then unsure
