What kind of food do the vegetarians eat?!
Answers: Pls name if possible all cuz i don't have any idea of vegetarian food
Vegetarians eat a large variety of foods (especially from the culture they're from) except meats, fish and poultry. For example, Americans who are vegetarian eat salads with sliced eggs, vegetarian bacon bits, olives, carrot slices and dressing (without bacon) on it. You will notice that I said "egg." Most vegetarians eat eggs from chickens. "Vegans" do not. The difference between what is commonly called "vegetarians" and "vegans" is that vegans also abstain from eating eggs, butter, cheese and drinking milk.
More examples: vegetarians will order a bean and cheese burrito with rice and salsa -- no beef or chicken or shrimp.
Example: Vegans will order hummus with toasted breads with a side of Greek salad -- no egg slices.
List of Grains: All Breads, Rice, Oatmeal, Quinoa, Wheat, Corn, Cous Cous, Buckwheat, etc.
List of Nuts, Seeds and Legumes: All almonds, peanuts, cashews, filberts, Sunflower Seeds, Pine Nuts, Navy Beans, Soy Beans, Lentils, etc.
List of Vegetables: Broccoli, Carrots, Kale, Cauliflower, Zucchini, etc.
List of Fruits: Apples, Oranges, Pears, Peaches, Bananas, Pineapples, Melons, etc.
Dairy (if you are not vegan): yoghurt, cheese, cottage cheese, milk, ice cream, etc.
It's easier to think about the foods not on the list -- Vegetarians can eat all foods except for all meats (beef, pork, bacon, etc), fish (including shrimp), poultry (turkey, chicken, etc.).
You didn't ask this: The key to a good vegetarian diet is to eat a balance of all food groups. If you choose to be vegan, it's quite easy to maintain a good weight or lose weight (if food consumed in moderate quantities) because the high calorie, high fat foods are easier to avoid vegan diet. For example, Vegans eat soy ice cream and no fat brownies. It's hard to get fat eating a true vegan diet...
Good luck!
Veggies...
Depending on what type of vegetarian, they eat: salad, fruits, vegetables, egg, milk, rice, noodles......
But if you don′t know what type, stick to veggies and leave out the egg and milk. Whatever you do, don′t serve meat....
vegetarians eat only vegetables they dont eat fish ,meat, and stuff like that but they drink milk they dont eat eggs
anything and everything that does not contain meat...that means no beef, pork, chicken, fish, etc...also i avoid things that have lard, gelatin, etc
I don't think I like your tone, you sound like GWB saying he uses "the google" are you comfortable with the phrase "you people"?
I am Indian Vegetarian and we probably have more tastier and healthier options than people eating meat worldwide!
Same as everyone else, but without the dead animals.
Pasta, rice, beans, potatos, veggies, fruits, grains, cereals, sandwiches (eggplant, sprout, lettuce/tomatos, etc.), lentils, stri-fry, veggie burgers and wraps, sauteed greens, tacos, enchilladas, pierogis, squash, wontons, you get the idea.
You could take virtually any dish and make it vegetarian, by leaving out the meat.
Vegan eating is a little more challenging, because you'd have to leave the egg, cheese, butter, milk out, but that gives vegans a chance to expand their diets.
The produce aisle is loaded with vegetarian meals, as are farmers' markets.
Vegetarians (those that eat dairy produces especially) could be on the hefty side because of the load of cheeses and milk in their diet.
anything but meat
Um... we eat everything anyone else eats, only it didn't involve an animals death.
veggies mostly! Some eat fish and chicken! Some just eat veggies!
