What are some good movies with vegetarians or vegans in them?!
Answers: the characters, not the actors. such as in Year of the Dog!
The Simpsons Movie has Lisa in it, and she's a vegetarian. ;)
Oh yeah, in Notting Hill, Julia Roberts' character is a vegetarian (if you exclude the scene where she eats some chicken at a dinner party so the host won't be offended.) I was pretty disappointed in that scene, since it reinforces the idea that it's "impolite" to not eat meat. O_o??
And I just found this, too, if you want a whole slew of examples:

No offense, and I'm a vegetarian, but I've never heard anyone looks for a film for that reason. In fact, I can't think of any.
Sammy---you should be studying your music trivia and not watching so much TV.
LOL
I think the main character in "Clueless" is a vegetarian. There is no hidden meaning in my answer either!!
In Legally Blonde she is a Vegetarian. I don't know many others, but I would be interested to find out!
"Gandhi" starring Ben Kingsley (aka Krishna Bhanji).
1.Tarzan (Johnny weismuller).......Vegetarian .
2.Swimming documentaries (Mark Spitz) Champion .
swimmer.
3. Tour De France films ( most all riders vegetarians).
Jackass - One of the cameramen is veg.
He pukes a lot. This is a lame contribution - sorry.
Sad to say it but Year of the Dog is the only real respectable film I've seen so far. Super size me discusses veganism. The guy starts out vegan and then does the whole McDonald's thing and then goes back to a vegan diet. It just shows what a healthy diet can do. It really makes me mad though that most movies portray vegans and vegetarians as eccentric. I think that is where so many stereotypes and misconceptions come from.
LMAO ....I think you are the strictest damn veggie head on here! Now we got "vegan/vegetarian approved" movies. LMAO
So if a veggie head chooses to watch movies without veg*ns .. would he or she be a "picto-vegetarian" or "picto-vegan"?
Would "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" be a veggie approved movie?
I recently rented a movie called RELATIVE STRANGERS with Kathy Bates and Danny Devito as maybe-parents of this guy. The kid and his wife are vegetarians and serve seitan at dinner in one scene. That's all I can think of off the top of my head!
